Photo: Star Today DB RM, a member of BTS, asked fans who had gathered outside the group’s accommodation during its South American tour to show restraint. On the 8th, RM wrote on the fan communication platform Weverse, “We’re in Peru now. It’s our first time ever visiting Peru, so we’re very excited and happy.” He also said, “But the people who stay outside the hotel where we’re staying all day long are making things very difficult for the members and staff.” He continued, “It’s so noisy that we can’t even sleep well in our rooms. On top of that, we’re causing a great deal of inconvenience to the guests staying at the same hotel.” He explained, “We’re grateful for your warm welcome and enthusiasm, but if we can’t get enough rest and sleep, it will affect the performances we put on with you.” RM reiterated his plea: “Please don’t keep waiting outside our hotels—not just in Lima, but also in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and the various Asian countries we’ll visit later. I’m asking you. I believe that ARMY, the world’s coolest fans, will understand and won’t do that.” Meanwhile, BTS, of which RM is a member, is currently on its ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, the largest in K-pop history, which began in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, last April. The group will meet fans from around the world in Lima, Peru, on the 9th and 10th; Santiago, Chile, from the 14th to the 17th; and Buenos Aires, Argentina, from the 21st to the 24th.
