ADOR: NewJeans Gears Up for Comeback

NewJeans, a K-pop girl group formed in 2022 under ADOR (a subsidiary of HYBE), is preparing to resume musical activities. Speculation intensified after members Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein were reportedly spotted in Copenhagen, with online buzz fueled by photos shared since April 12 on X. Another user claimed to see the name ‘ADOR’ on a reservation list at a music studio in Denmark, suggesting new recordings. The agency confirmed the visit as part of pre-production for their new musical journey. NewJeans debuted with the hit EP *New Jeans*, featuring songs like ‘Attention,’ ‘Hype Boy,’ and ‘Cookie,’ and later topped the Billboard 200 with *Get Up* in 2023. Following a dispute between HYBE and ADOR’s former CEO Min Hee-jin, the group announced a hiatus in March 2025 due to a court injunction preventing independent activities without HYBE’s approval. Three members—Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein—have since returned to group activities, while Minji’s participation remains uncertain and Danielle’s contract has reportedly been terminated.
