Drake will reportedly be the first artist in history to have of the Billboard 200. Last week, music insider outlet Hits Daily Double reported on the projected sales of Drizzy’s new releases, Iceman, Maid of Honour and Habibti. As of Tuesday (May 16), Hits DD has previewed that the 5-time Grammy winner will sweep the top 3 spots on the chart with his musical trifecta. Expected to chart at No. 1 with 475,000 in album equivalent sales is Iceman, which Drake rolled out over the last year through livestreams and cryptic Instagram posts. Surprise albums Maid of Honour and Habibti are slated to follow at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, with 120,000 each in album-equivalent sales, making 715,000 in sales altogether. The sales are in proximity to Hits DD’s initial projections of Iceman moving 480,000-520,000 equivalent units, followed by Maid and Habibti selling 115,000-135,000 equivalent units and 110,000-130,000 equivalent units, respectively. The rapper-singer revisited the 2011 album being criticized in an Instagram Story over the weekend, despite the project becoming a fan favorite and winning Drake his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 2013. In less than a week, the 6 God has seen blockbuster motion for his new albums, with him also making history on major streaming platforms Apple Music, Amazon and Spotify, to name a few. On Spotify alone, last Friday (May 15), Drake was named the highest-streamed artist in a single-day, while Iceman became the most-streamed album of 2026 in a single day, and opening track “Make Them Cry” being the most-streamed song of the year so far. In achieving his 14th career chart-topping album, Drake will also officially break his tie with the late Michael Jackson.
