‘DWTS’ Fans Are Heartbroken Over This Shocking Week 3 Elimination

During the week 3 performances on Dancing with the Stars , one more couple was sent packing. Plenty of DWTS fans had their theories regarding who would head home on "Yacht Rock Night," but chances are, few anticipated the elimination that came at the end of the September 29 episode. Three couples were left in elimination at the end of the night: Jackson Olson and Emma Slater , Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson , and Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart . Sadly, Hanson and Stewart were eliminated, an announcement that shocked many. On Instagram , Dancing with the Stars fans had a lot to say about seeing Stewart and Hanson leave. "Justice for Britt. She looked so defeated always getting shafted," one viewer wrote. "I think we may have watched Britt's final moments on this show," a fan worriedly commented. Another added, "It broke my heart seeing how this elimination affected Britt. It was written all over her face how heartbroken she was to be going this early. Not deserved at all." After all of the performances, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov , along with Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson , were at the top of the leaderboard with 24 out of 30 points. Rodriguez and Carson were last on the leaderboard with 15 out of 30 points. One viewer tweeted , "I think no one could have predicted Taylor Hanson's Week 3 exit on either performance or fandom grounds. We're all shocked & upset with you Taylor & Britt!" Another post read , "Britt Stewart I will avenge you." Dancing with the Stars fans posting on Reddit were equally disappointed in the week 3 elimination. "I just hope that Britt knows that she's loved by so many of us and she's such an incredible dancer with such a beautiful heart and soul," one Reddit user commented. Someone else shared, "That genuinely hurt my heart seeing Britt that upset. She put in some amazing work this season and I don't understand why she got voted off so soon." Dancing with the Stars fans know there will almost always be at least one surprise elimination each season. However, seeing Stewart and Hanson eliminated so early in season 35 has many viewers feeling especially heartbroken.
