Valtteri Bottas cycled from Malaysia to Singapore over four days. Photo: Instagram Finnish Formula One driver Valtteri Bottas arrived in Singapore after cycling more than 419km from Malaysia over four days, combining his preparation for the Singapore Grand Prix with a long-distance cycling adventure. The Cadillac driver documented the journey on social media, sharing glimpses of his ride through Malaysia, including encounters with wildlife, nighttime cycling and stops to sample local food. Bottas planned the distances to allow time for recovery before his Formula One commitments in Singapore. The trip offered a different kind of build-up to the race weekend, which runs from 9 to 11 October. Known for his interest in cycling alongside his racing career, Bottas has increasingly shared his adventures off the track with fans. His latest journey also gave him an opportunity to experience Malaysia by road before arriving in Singapore for one of Formula One’s most demanding races.
