Gachiakuta Season 2 Gets First Look With Teaser Trailer

Back to the Pit. Gachiakuta Season 2 has received its first teaser trailer, giving us an early look at the anime’s return following the second season announcement in December 2025. New character visuals featuring Enjin and Zanka have also been released. The teaser does not reveal much about what to expect from the new season, but it offers the first footage from Season 2 and brings back characters from the first season. Images of Enjin and Zanka were released alongside the trailer. Gachiakuta Season 2 was announced in December 2025, following the conclusion of the anime’s first season. The series is also making the jump to video games with Gachiakuta: The Game, a survival action RPG currently in development for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Gachiakuta is based on the manga written and illustrated by Kei Urana, who previously worked as an assistant to Fire Force creator Atsushi Ohkubo. Hideyoshi Andou is responsible for the manga’s graffiti designs, which form a major part of its visual identity. The manga began serialisation in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022. The story follows Rudo, a young boy living in the slums beneath the wealthy descendants of criminals. After being falsely accused of murder, Rudo is thrown into the Pit, a massive wasteland filled with discarded rubbish and dangerous creatures. He eventually joins a group known as the Cleaners and discovers that he can draw abilities from objects that have been cared for and given value by their owners. The anime adaptation is produced by Studio Bones and premiered in July 2025. Crunchyroll streams the series internationally.
