Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts welcomes first child

Nicola Roberts (pictured in London in April 2026) - "It's heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she's ours" Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has announced the arrival of her first child with footballer Mitch Hahn, saying it is "heaven on earth" with their baby girl. The 40-year-old singer revealed on Christmas Day last year that she was five months pregnant. On Sunday, she shared a series of photos with the newborn in a celebratory post on Instagram, including one comparing their hands. In the caption, Roberts said: "Beautiful baby girl is here. "We haven't stopped staring at her perfect little face or kissing her softest little head. "She arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs and is thriving. "It's heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she's ours." Roberts rose to fame as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud, who formed in 2002 on the ITV show Popstars: The Rivals . The group had number one singles with Sound of the Underground , I'll Stand by You , Walk This Way featuring Sugababes, and The Promise . In 2024, Girls Aloud reunited for an Ireland and UK arena tour that celebrated their legacy and paid tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding, who died from breast cancer aged 39 in 2021.
