The I'm A Celebrity star and her partner Scott Dobinson have announced they are expecting their second baby after opening up about their fertility struggles and miscarriage 06:09, 21 Apr 2026 Scarlett Moffatt has revealed that she and her partner Scott Dobinson are expecting their second child together. The I'm A Celebrity star has been candid about her difficulties conceiving, but the couple, who are already parents to son Jude, have joyfully confirmed they are preparing to welcome a new addition to their family. ‌ The 35-year-old announced the heart warming news in a social media video that saw her two-year-old son holding up a personalised newspaper with a headline saying: "Baby Dobinson another miracle coming soon!" ‌ She said: "We honestly can't believe we're writing this... After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say... our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he's going to be a big brother. ‌ "And if there's one thing we know for certain, it's that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock... Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible." And because no one talks about it, you think something is wrong with you. You're like, why is it not happening? It's a hard one. "After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried, and I remembered Scott's mum and dad took Jude for the day, and me and Scott just laid in bed crying. It was awful. Because in our head, we were like, 'oh, like, imagine them running downstairs at Christmas together'. "You imagine it. When you lose a baby in that way, you're sort of mourning a life that you imagined. It's just really sad. We just have to be so grateful we have got ours." ‌ Scarlett subsequently revealed she had questioned herself, admitting it made life feel "heavier". She said: "When all you want is a family. It's really hard when that doesn't just come naturally and easily. You know, you question yourself. "You question, why is it not happening? Is it ever going to happen? And it's just really hard, like it just makes life feel heavier." ‌ Back in December, Scarlett disclosed that she and Scott had a discussion in the wake of their miscarriage, during which she confessed she "couldn't handle the heartbreak anymore" and they had decided to "stop" their efforts to grow their family. She recalled telling Scott: "We've got Jude, so let's enjoy him. I just think it's so brave when people then continue the journey because it is soul-destroying. And I think it's really strong people who can cope. It was awful on my body, too. Article continues below "So, we made the decision to just enjoy having Jude."
