At the Manila stop of their 'Show What I Am' world tour, IVE brought a bold, mature energy. South Korean girl group IVE delivered a striking evolution of their artistry during the Manila leg of their ‘Show What I Am’ world tour, proving they are more than ready to embrace a bolder, more confident identity. While rehearsing for the tour, the members had already set a clear vision for the show. In a behind-the-scenes video shown during the concert, Liz shared that the setlist was crafted ‘to show a more confident and mature side of ourselves.’ ‘Because I wanted to show you an even cooler stage, we really prepared so hard,’ Gaeul added. The Manila concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena featured a high-energy spectacle that highlighted both their growth and signature polish. Unlike their previous Manila concert in July 2024 under the ‘Show What I Have’ tour, where they appeared in soft, princess-like ensembles, IVE immediately shifted to a bold narrative with leather outfits, launching into ‘Gotcha (Baddest Eros).’ The opening segment included darker, edgier tracks like ‘Blackhole,’ with powerful choreography and dramatic visuals. A key change was the expansion of solo stages, where each member performed original tracks from their sophomore album REVIVE+, such as ‘8’ by Wonyoung, ‘In Your Heart’ by Rei, ‘Unreal’ by Liz, and ‘Odd’ by Gaeul. The group also incorporated interactive segments with fans in angelic white outfits with wings, transitioning to gold outfits for the finale with hits like ‘Love Dive,’ ‘Rebel Heart,’ and ‘I Am.’ Filipino fans were engaged through heartfelt interactions, with members using local phrases like ‘Kamusta kayong lahat?’ and ‘Mahal kita.’ The concert concluded with emotional gratitude, reinforcing IVE’s promise to return to the Philippines, and showcasing their refreshed image and stronger connection with their audience.
