Lorin Bektas pays tribute to nanny after college graduation

Lorin, the eldest daughter of actress Ruffa Gutierrez with her former husband Yilmaz Bektas, honored her Yaya Fanny through a video on her TikTok page on Wednesday, May 6. The clip, which uses Radiohead’s “Let Down” as the background song, begins with a video of Lorin accepting her diploma, then transitions to photos of her and Fanny from when the former was just a toddler until recently. “There wouldn’t be this if there hadn’t been you,” Lorin wrote. In the caption, the young celebrity added, “My Yaya Fanny is one of the most important people in my life. She has been with our family for over 25 years and has seen me through every chapter.” Addressing Fanny, she added, “Yaya, mahal na mahal kita. Thank you for everything. You are my real life guardian angel.” Ruffa and Lorin’s younger sister also admired Fanny in the comments section, underscoring the bond that they have. Lorin recently graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, with a bachelor’s degree in advertising.
