NetRom Software and Trivium Solutions to form new growth platform for Software Engineering backed by Investcorp

29 Jun 2026 Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm, through its technology investment arm Investcorp Technology Partners (“ITP”), today announced that it has founded a new growth platform with NetRom Software and Trivium eSolutions as founding members. The platform enables complementary software engineering firms to independently excel and as a group, collectively accelerate. Through the new platform, NetRom and Trivium will serve customers with a broader range of software engineering services and realize joint investments in new AI-enabled propositions. The result is a unique blend of software consulting, software design and AI-native engineering skills for clients across key markets in Europe and the US. The ambition for the group is to grow organically and acquire other complementary software engineering firms with distinct delivery models, expertise domains and sector specializations. Investcorp invested in NetRom Software as majority shareholder in 2023, and in June 2026, Investcorp became the primary investor of Trivium. NetRom is a Dutch Romanian nearshore software development firm, leading in Team-as-a-Service delivery, with ~ 460 employees and two delivery centres in Romania. Trivium is a German software consulting and development firm, leading in Industrial AI, with ~180 employees and delivery centres in Germany, Netherlands and India. Both organizations are complementary on multiple aspects, enabling customers to benefit from a full software service offering and the combined scale of both organizations.
