The report, based on figures from Rystad Energy UCube, shows Algeria producing about 3,000 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, ahead of Nigeria at 2,500 and Libya at about 1,600. Angola and Egypt also ranked among the continent’s top producers, while Congo-Brazzaville, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea posted moderate output levels. Mozambique emerged as a key gas producer, while Ghana, Chad, South Africa and South Sudan recorded comparatively lower production volumes.
