Robert Pattinson says he worked out a lot for The Batman and Part 2. Robert Pattinson revealed in a new GQ interview that he trained extensively for The Batman. He pushed back firmly against the public perception that he skipped workouts for the role. Pattinson now prepares for The Batman: Part 2 with a dedicated home gym routine. “I worked out every f–king day. Even after that, I still look like I didn’t work out. I worked out twice a day at, like, three o’clock in the morning,” Pattinson told GQ. He thinks his own past interviews were kind of responsible for the lukewarm reception to his superhero physique. He had previously told outlets that exercise was uncool, which ultimately shaped public opinion. Pattinson currently rents a home in Beverly Hills with partner Suki Waterhouse and their two-year-old daughter. He specifically set up a home gym there to get ready for The Batman: Part 2. The sequel will shoot in London near the Leavesden set. However, the production timeline has not been entirely smooth for the actor. The Batman: Part 2 kept getting pushed back during its development and pre-production phases. Pattinson filled the growing gap by shooting several films back-to-back. “I’m like, ‘Well, I’ll do another movie in between.’ And then I ended up doing f–king a lot of movies,” he said. The actor also recently learned the sequel involves a particularly demanding shoot schedule. “I just heard from the stunt guy the other day. He said, ‘Ooh, 11 weeks of nights,'” Pattinson shared. He added that nobody had even sent him an official schedule yet. Pattinson also completed work on The Odyssey, Dune: Part Three, The Drama, Die My Love, and his self-produced film Primetime. He seemingly juggled these projects while waiting for Batman production to finally begin. The Batman: Part 2 is currently scheduled to come out on October 1, 2027.
