Reviewed by Sumeet Nadkarni The third and concluding chapter of the Vijay Salgaonkar saga, Drishyam: The Conclusion ticks all the right boxes to emerge as the new blockbuster of the year. Heck ya, it even manages to outshine Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 (2026), which was quite underwhelming and pheeka in comparison. Probably the first time Bollywood has chosen an original way forward instead of simply remaking the Malayalam counterpart and come out a winner! Vijay (Ajay Devgn) and Meera (Tabu) battle it out in court as the new SP Tomar (Jaideep Ahlawat filling in for Akshaye Khanna) unearths fresh evidence linked to the crime. Super fast paced with unpredictable twists and turns, the screenplay makes for a terrific roller coaster ride, as we relish the cat and mouse game unfolding before us. Will Vijay manage to stay one step ahead of the law yet again? Or will the Salgaonkars finally find themselves behind bars? Ajay Devgn is fantastic as usual, speaking volumes through his smouldering eyes. Note his expressions when the SP gatecrashes his daughter's (Ishita Dutta) matchmaking get-together. Tabu leaves a mighty mark in her comparatively smaller role. Shriya Saran looks gorgeous as Nandini and nails the courtroom outburst scene. Prakash Raj is efficient as the tough lawyer, while Kamlesh Sawant generates a few laughs as Gaitonde. Drishyam: The Conclusion is a befitting finale to a trilogy that began in 2015. In fact, it outshines its predecessor and delivers exactly what franchise lovers would expect: a gripping, unpredictable and thoroughly entertaining final chapter. Go for it!!
