The time has finally arrived! Season two of The Celebrity Traitors starts tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer and we are counting down the hours until we are reunited with Claudia Winkleman at the castle. But before we return to those legendary grounds, we need to get to know the 21 new celebrities who will be heading to the round table this year. From comedians, to actors, to singers and presenters, there's celebrities from across the UK taking part in the most tense and twisty show on TV. Just as with every previous season of The Traitors, this year's show will see Claudia Winkleman pick her Traitors and the rest of the group aka the Faithfuls must workout who amongst them are the Traitors through a series of challenges and intense round tables. But who will come out on top? And crucially who will win the prize fund for the charity of their choice? Here's everything to know about the cast of this year's The Celebrity Traitors . Grant Rob Beckett Romesh Ranganthan Ross Kemp Sebastian Croft Sharon Rooney Meet the cast of The Celebrity Traitors season 2 Amol Rajan BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 42 Famous for: Journalist, broadcaster and presenter of University Challenge Instagram: @amolrajan What is his strategy? "Alliances. Evolution. Victory. I’m here to play hard. I’m also here to have fun. But I am going to play hard!" Bella Ramsey BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 22 Famous for: Actor best known for starring in Game of Thrones and The Last of Us What is their strategy?: "Instinctive, measured, and perceptive." Hannah Fry BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 42 Famous for: Broadcaster, mathematician and host of The Rest is Science podcast Instagram: @fryrsquared What is her strategy?: " Careful, analytical, and well, the other thing that I really want to be is just a little bit mischievous. I really want to enjoy the ride and have fun being playful." James Acaster BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 41 Famous for: Comedian and co-host of The Off Menu podcast What is his strategy?: " Absolutely no touching. Not letting anyone touch me, because I'm not getting murdered in plain sight." James Blunt BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 52 Famous for: Singer Instagram: @jamesblunt What is his strategy?: "It's non-existent. It’s so hard to think about because it just really depends on who's who. I suppose the only thing to be is inquisitive in the sense of getting to know people. I always think it's a little bit foolhardy going into this with a fixed strategy because it really is all about the other players and reacting to behaviour and observations." Jerry Hall BBC Age: 69 Famous: Actress and model Instagram: @jerryfayehall Is she a leader or a follower?: "Well, I tend to be quite the leader when it comes to games because I'm very competitive so I can't shut up! But I'm going to try to behave if I can." Joanne McNally BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 42 Famous for: Comedian, presenter and co-host of My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast. Instagram: @joannemcnally Does she think she can win?: "Sure. I have this feeling I'll either be out within seven minutes, or I'll end up going the distance. I mean, I don't really win. I'm a second placer." Joe Lycett BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 37 Famous for: Comedian and presenter Instagram: @joelycett Does he want to be a Faithful or a Traitor?: " Both. I want to start as a Faithful and then be converted. I think I’d find it very stressful being a Traitor, but I think you only get one chance to have a go at it, don't you?" Julie Hesmondhalgh BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 56 Famous for: Actress best known for playing Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street Instagram: @ jhesmondhalgh What is her strategy?: " Traitor hunter extraordinaire." King Kenny BBC Age: 29 Famous for: YouTuber and former boxer Instagram: @kingkennytv What is his strategy?: " You have to go in there and analyse, man. I'll be honest. When I've watched a few of the series, you can come up with a strategy, but things can happen in the game that make you rethink, rejig, or make an alliance with a person. I'm the sort of person that I’ll get in there, analyse, and then I’ll play the game from there. I don't dwell too much in the strategy because things can change." Leigh-Anne Pinnock BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 34 Famous for: Singer Instagram: @leighannepinnock What is her strategy?: "To be as cool as a cucumber. Cat Burns was so calm. She's my inspiration for this. I actually spoke to her as well before coming in. I love her. She had good advice, she said it might get intense around that Round Table but remember, it's just a game. So, my focus is to just keep it cool. She also said you're just going to have the best time, and you’ll make so many friends. I can’t wait." Maya Jama BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 31 Famous for: TV presenter Instagram: @mayajama What is her strategy?: " Hopefully to just build genuine friendships and make good connections. That's my starting point. If you're a Faithful, you want the Traitors to like you enough to keep you around. If you're a Traitor, you don't want anyone to suspect you. So, either way... be everyone's friend." Michael Sheen BBC / Studio Lambert / Cody Burridge Age: 57 Famous for: Actor Instagram: @mablilyradad What is his strategy?: "I'm sure you can have a strategy. I mean, you'll be wrong, but it's like Mike Tyson said; 'strategy is what you have until someone punches you in the face.' You can have a game plan, but ultimately you’ve just got to go with it. Having watched the show, you pick up certain things. Theories, unless they're right, tend to make people look very foolish. "So, as for strategy, there are choices to be made about how you vote such as do you try and vote with the herd to stay hidden within? Or do you go rogue and pick random people? But does that draw attention? And there are 21 of us this time so that's a lot of people. It's a lot of big personalities there. There are a lot of people who in their jobs draw attention to themselves. In here, I'm not sure how much that works for you. So, if I have a strategy, it's to begin with at least, just to try and stay hidden." Miranda Hart BBC / Studio Lambert / Cody Burridge Age: 53 Famous for: Actress and comedian Instagram: @realmirandahart Is she a leader or a follower?: "I’m a bit of all of those things. I think I'm a lone wolf in that I love my alone time. So being with people constantly all day will be very new for me (I’ll either not stop talking or will have to tell people to pipe down!). But then I love being a team player because I used to be an athlete back in the day, so was part of sports teams which I always miss. I’d probably prefer to not be the leader but part of the team. Being in the ensemble is often better than being the lead role." Myha'la BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 30 Famous for: Actress best known for starring in Industry Instagram: @mmyhala Is she more of a leader or a follower?: "Truthfully, I see myself as a leader, but because I'm small, I'm dainty, and a woman I feel like the way that I tend to lead is usually through building community. I'm also an introvert by nature. I love to recharge alone. My alone time is really important to me so I think, in some ways, I might perceive myself as a lone wolf, but I think in practice, I'm more of a gentle leader." Richard E. Grant BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 69 Famous for: Actor Instagram: @richard.e.grant Is he a leader or a follower?: " Team player. My job is entirely about being a team player." Rob Beckett BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 40 Famous for: Comedian Instagram: @robbeckettcomic What is his strategy?: "In the moment." Romesh Ranganthan BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 48 Famous: Comedian and presenter Instagram: @romeshranga What is his strategy?: "One of my biggest issues is that I'm not particularly observant, which isn't ideal for this game. So, I need to work on that. I need to become more of an active listener. I've got the gist. I'm a very gist guy, and in The Traitors , you can't be a gist guy. You've got to look at nuance and stuff like that. I think people are going to find it uncomfortable talking to me because I'm going to be desperately trying to pay as much attention as I possibly can." Ross Kemp BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 61 Famous for: Actor, best known for playing Grant Mitchell in Eastenders and presenter Instagram: @rosskemptv What will be his strengths and weaknesses in the series?: " My weakness may be with some of the difficult questions; the conundrums posed in Missions. My strength hopefully would be some of the physical challenges. I'm a qualified HSE diver, so anything with water I should be able to do. I don't mind heights too much, I don't mind cold weather and stuff like that, I’ve completed hostile environment training and I don’t mind being uncomfortable so I should be able to make a good contribution to Missions I’d say." Sebastian Croft BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 24 Famous for: Actor Instagram: @sebastiancroft Would he rather be a Traitor or Faithful?: "Getting to go in the turret would be the coolest thing ever. That said, I think I'd have a lot of fun being a Faithful. I think the big part of this game is just accepting that I have no control over these things but then also planning for every outcome. I think the best course of action, the dream scenario for me, is to be a Faithful and then get recruited. It means that for the beginning part of the game you can have genuine conviction in your Faithfulness." Sharon Rooney BBC/Studio Lambert/Cody Burridge/BBC Creative Age: 37 Famous for: Actor Instagram: @sharon_rooney What is her strategy?: "My strategy for the game is like my strategy in life, and I think it would just be - keep yourself right. That would mean I'm not going to be swayed by any peer pressure. I'm not going to just vote for someone because everyone's doing it. If I don't think it's right, I'm not going to do it. I think that might be dangerous because it might make me look guilty, but I hate that thing where people vote for someone just because everyone's doing it. I’ll be true to myself, and I won’t just go along with the crowd." The Celebrity Traitors season two starts tonight at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
