In a social media post, Hammond confirmed she was at the hospital getting checkups; however, she did confirm that she is doing okay now. She posted a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown as she updated her fans and netizens about what happened. She talked about getting her heart checked out and confirmed she is fine and there is nothing to worry about. She added, “I know you’re all worried about me. Honestly, I am fine, first of all. I’m getting my old ticker checked out. I had a little bit of a palpitation, and now I’m getting it all checked out. But I think I’m okay. I’m hoping it was just a little panic attack or something like that. I love you all.” A post in continuation to the previous statement added, “I’m so sorry I left you. I would never normally do that. I would never leave a TV show, but so you know, I wasn’t very well. But hopefully I’m going to be all right. The doctors are so lovely, and they’re checking me out, and hopefully everything’s going to be fine.” Another selfie of hers from the hospital read, “Anything to have a day off” as the star smiled at the camera. She posted another final photo from the hospital bed, concluding, “Look, I’m rocking it. Look how good I look. Still got my makeup on from This Morning. Lush. While filming one of the latest episodes of the on-air show, ‘This Morning,' Hammond ended up having a health scare while presenting with her co-host, Dermot O’Leary. During the shoot, Hammond was seen walking off screen, while O’Leary explained the situation to viewers. He stated, “Welcome back to this morning. Alison is feeling a little unwell, so she’s just had to duck out. Hopefully she’ll be back.” Alison Hammond has been a part of ‘This Morning’ since 2003.
