War 9pm, Sky Atlantic “If they play dirty,” says Nina Sosanya’s lawyer, Beatrice Ubosi, “we will be total and utter filth.” Let’s hope that’s a promise – this slick, stylish divorce drama could get seriously nasty. Sienna Miller’s film star Carla has her beady eyes on the fortune of tech slimeball Morgan (Dominic West). But as befits an extremely rich man, he has a very expensive and ruthless legal team. Expect fireworks. Phil Harrison Play for Today: Village Idiot 9pm, Channel 5 Defiant ... Barbara (Phyllis Logan) fends off the developers in Play for Today: Village Idiot. Photograph: 5 Broadcasting Limited/© Vertigo Production. 2026/Photographer: Valeria Luongo When a high-speed rail project threatens her cottage, pensioner Barbara (Phyllis Logan) defiantly chains herself to the porch. Can her grandson Peter (Max Harwood) – now a nervy liaison officer for the corporate baddies – resolve the situation? Unlike its HS2 inspiration, the results are cheap and cheerful. Graeme Virtue The Walking Dead: Dead City 9pm, Sky One The zombie drama turns into something like a particularly fraught episode of ER, but not because of the undead: two rival gangs flood the hospital, with wounds they have inflicted on each other. It’s a delicate ethical dilemma for Maggie and co: can they just let them die? Jack Seale Have I Got News for You 9.30pm, BBC One It’s series 72 of the bulletproof satirical quiz and, from the rise of Andy Burnham to the bin-defeating triumph of Nigel Farage, Paul Merton and Ian Hislop have plenty to get their teeth into. They are joined by Gyles Brandreth with Richard Ayoade in the hosting chair. PH Live From the Lycett Arms 10pm, Channel 4 Thirst rodeo: an unashamedly boozy knees-up in a London East End pub has turned out to be an effective delivery mechanism for Joe Lycett’s chaotic, raunchy energy. After variable efforts from previous guest bar managers Sara Cox, Lenny Henry and Mel Giedroyc, how will his celebrity supervisor fare this week? G V The Graham Norton Show 10.40pm, BBC One Another big-name lineup for Graham as the sofa is graced by Trump-friendly Hollywood lunk Sylvester Stallone. He’ll be joined by Catherine Zeta-Jones, 50 Cent and Andrew Garfield, touting his lead role in Paul Greengrass’s film about the peasants’ revolt, The Uprising. Probably best to stay off the politics, Graham ... PH Film choice Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (Jane Schoenbrun, 2026), Mubi Psychosexual blowout ... Gillian Anderson as Billy and Hannah Einbinder as Kris in Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma. Photograph: © MUBI In her previous two movies, indie director Jane Schoenbrun explored the uncanny spaces we inhabit between the internet, TV and our daily lives. For her latest dark and delirious drama, she delves into movies and their unsettling hold on us. Hacks’ Hannah Einbinder plays Kris, an up-and-coming queer film-maker hired to reboot Camp Miasma, a “problematic” Friday the 13th-style slasher horror franchise. For research, she visits the original’s reclusive star, Billy (Gillian Anderson), who, bizarrely, lives in the film’s abandoned summer camp location. As the women get closer, reality and Camp Miasma’s grisly fiction start to blur in a giddy, psychosexual blowout. Simon Wardell The Last First: Winter K2 ( Amir Bar-Lev, 2026 ), Apple TV “No tents. No food. I think some people will die this night.” It’s a chilling start to Amir Bar-Lev’s sobering, cautionary documentary about the 2021 race to be the first to climb the world’s second-highest peak, which resulted in five deaths. The copious interviews and footage (every team seemingly had a camera crew) focus mainly on the Icelandic/Pakistani trio of John Snorri Sigurjónsson and Ali and Sajid Sadpara. They got to base camp first but were soon joined by “rock star” Nepali-British climber Nims Purja and, fatefully, a large commercial expedition of mostly amateurs. SW
