Exosomes deliver active ingredients to your cells to help them function better. In this serum, they support skin renewal and strengthen the skin barrier, while peptides improve elasticity and firmness, and antioxidants protect skin. “Initially, I loved that it was packed with cutting-edge ingredients but also available at a budget-friendly price point,” says senior beauty editor Genesis Rivas . “Then I kept reaching for it because the light, milky, and moisturizing texture made my skin look glowy. Before I knew it, I had finished the entire bottle, which is always a good sign from a beauty editor who gets too much newness and rarely finishes anything!” Seven years ago, Fenty launched foundation with the most comprehensive shade range in history—and many followed suit. Now, the brand is rolling out a new foundation with 50 shades meant to match even more of us. “I love the breathable skin-like finish,” says beauty director Kate Sandoval Box . “But I’ve also really fallen for the foundation brush that launched with it! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found that I have to apply very thin layers of foundation to look fresh and natural. A foundation brush has become essential, and this one is perfect. The curved shape fits every area of my face, and the bristles are soft, but firm and packed enough to blend evenly and flawlessly. I’m not left with visible brushstrokes—just an even complexion.” Advertisement - Continue Reading Below “I’ve been a curl-cream girl since I went natural 10 years ago, so becoming a gel convert was not exactly on my beauty bingo card—but this formula changed my mind before my hair even dried,” says contributing lifestyle editor Holly Carter . “It gave my curls impressive definition and shine without the usual gel-related stiffness, leaving them bouncy and with plenty of movement while keeping frizz in check. I also appreciate the generously sized bottle and pump. When you’re styling thick curls like mine, the last thing you want is to ration product or wrestle with a tiny tube.” It’s made for tight coils and enriched with aloe vera, marshmallow root, and prebiotics, and free of fragrance, parabens, drying alcohols, silicone, and more. Now 23% Off “I’m a big fan of Briogeo, so when I found out the founder, Nancy Twine, had launched a new haircare brand I knew I needed to try it,” says Rivas. The new lineup of products focuses on hydration with a complex that blends kakadu plum, inositol, and sacha inchi. “I immediately loved the scent of citrus, soft florals, rice milk, and musk. After trying the conditioner a few times, I quickly learned that a little goes a long way. It’s very rich, and hair feels noticeably softer and looks smoother. I keep coming back for more,” Rivas says. This formula is great because it glides on easily, has staying power, and comes in a particularly good range of shades. I’ve been reaching for Plum Pashmina and Cashmere Rouge, using them not just to line my lips but as lip color, too. They feel especially right for fall,” says Carter. It has a sandalwood and tonka bean base, but the notes of orange blossom and French lavender add a level of freshness and vibrancy that makes it the perfect transitional summer-to-fall scent. Note: it’s limited-edition, so it may sell out quickly. “I’d just about had it with my mascara smudging when I finally switched to tubing formulas and never looked back,” says Sandoval Box. “And now I feel similarly impressed with this tubing brow gel.” As you brush it through your brows, the formula forms transparent tubes around each hair to hold it in place. “It kept my brows brushed up all day, without making them look shellacked. And they also didn’t feel dry, crispy, or glued stiff,” she adds. My concealer doesn’t have to work as hard (to be honest, sometimes I skip it), and my eyes look more awake even when I’m not!” Genesis Rivas is the Beauty Editor at Oprah Daily, where she covers hair, makeup, skin, nails, and more.
