Aug 2, 2026 – 3.11pm ANZ and NAB are among lenders bankrolling the $1.85 trillion private capital juggernaut Blackstone’s record-setting acquisition of HSBC Australia’s $36 billion book of home and personal loans. Street Talk can reveal Blackstone has lined up $30 billion-plus in senior debt to pay for more than 90 per cent of what is Australia’s largest-ever securitisation transaction.
