Boy band CIX will end its group activities with all four members subsequently leaving the agency. The official statement from C9 Entertainment, released on the band's official fan cafe, notes that after careful consideration, all parties agreed that suspending operations as a team is unavoidable under current circumstances. Discussions between the agency and the members have been ongoing for several months. BX and Seunghun’s exclusive contract with the agency ends on Thursday. Hyunsik, currently filming a drama, will receive agency support until his contract ends on May 31. Yonghee, who enlisted for military duty, will enter basic military training on May 11, with his contract terminated upon enlistment. A farewell gathering organized by C9 Entertainment will allow fans to bid farewell to Yonghee before his enlistment, with further details to be shared in the future. CIX debuted as a five-member boy band on July 21, 2019, with members BX, Bae Jin-young, Seunghun, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk. Bae left the band in 2024 after initially debuting with the project boy band Wanna One in 2017. The band’s last Korean album, 'Go' Chapter 1: Go Together,' was released on September 8, 2025.
