Animators By Jamie Lang | GKIDS has released the English-language dub trailer for Alberto Vázquez’s *Decorado*, ahead of its May 15 North American theatrical release. The distributor will host screenings in both the original Spanish with subtitles and the new English dub, with tickets now available. The film’s release coincides with a strong festival trajectory: it was selected for the main feature competition at Annecy 2026 and won the Spanish Goya Award for best animated feature earlier this year. It also earned the Quirino Award for best Ibero-American feature earlier this month. Adapted from Vázquez’s 2016 Goya-winning short of the same name, *Decorado* follows Arnold, a disillusioned middle-aged mouse who suspects his life is a scripted performance. After his best friend Ramiro’s suspicious death, Arnold uncovers a conspiracy tied to a mega-corporation influencing his world. The English dub features voices by David Goldstein, Marissa Parness, Brian Maillard, Brian Villalobos, and Rene Mujica.
