Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin met with Belarusian Minister for Energy Mr. Moroz Denis in Minsk on Friday evening. Both sides discussed requisite technologies and investment cooperation for the construction of petrochemical plants. They also focused on reducing natural gas losses through enhancing the natural gas distribution network and promoting smart power generation and smart grid development. Collaborative measures were emphasized in cable and related parts manufacturing, human resource development in the electricity and energy sector, and further bilateral cooperation to ensure energy security.
