Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported its highest-ever domestic sales for April 2026, with 51,902 units sold, representing a 17% increase year-on-year. The company also achieved export sales of 13,708 units. The all-new Hyundai Venue recorded its highest-ever monthly domestic sales at 12,420 units. Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, stated that the company opened the new financial year strongly, driven by sustained demand from recent product updates, including the new Exter, Verna, Ioniq 5, Creta Summer Edition, Grand i10 Nios Vibe Edition, and Venue Knight Edition. Garg noted that the 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for the Venue and Venue N Line boosted customer confidence, contributing to the models' strong performance.
