JAIPUR: Keralam’s Kejiah Liz Mejo has been crowned Miss Universe India 2026. She will represent India at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico this November. The event, held on August 23, featured contestants from across India showcasing talent, personality, confidence, communication skills, and cultural understanding. Vaishnavi Ganesh from Tamil Nadu was first runner-up, and Anushri Satavlekar from Gujarat was second runner-up. Mejo, a 19-year-old law student and model, described the title as a ‘great responsibility,’ emphasizing pride in representing India’s diversity and new generation. Nikhil Anand, owner of Miss Universe India, stated the competition aims to provide young women a platform to display talent, confidence, and leadership globally.
