Mahindra BE 7 Spied Testing Mahindra Auto has been the earliest mainstream brand to adopt electric propulsion technologies in the country. However, Mahindra’s EVs really took off once the brand introduced the world class INGLO platform populated by coveted BYD Blade batteries. Three vehicles have been launched based on INGLO platform already – BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S. Now, the company is working to bring its fourth Electric Origin SUV in the form of BE 7. Mahindra has showcased this as a concept with the name BE.07 and is expected to launch as BE 7, positioned above BE 6. These test mules were spied outside of Mahindra’s SUV Proving Track (MSPT) near Chennai. Mahindra BE 7 Spied Testing Mahindra BE 7 Spied Testing After launching the wild BE 6, sophisticated XEV 9e and practical XEV 9S, Mahindra is working on their fourth Electric Origin SUV with a stand-out design like BE 6 and a puff-daddy appeal. We’re talking about the BE 7, which has been spied testing. There are two different BE 7 test mules spied together. It is interesting to see that both these test mules have different camouflaging patterns on them. There is a possibility that these test mules will undergo testing in different terrains and hence their respective camouflages. When compared to the BE 6, BE 7 is expected to be a larger vehicle. Mahindra BE 7 Spied Testing Dimensions of BE.07 concept are 4,565 mm length, 1,900 mm width, 1,660 mm height and wheelbase is 2,775 mm. Looking at the test mule, one could say that the company is staying true to the BE.07 concept and has retained most or all of its silhouette. The strong C Pillars, upright stance and boxy silhouette lends BE 7 a muscular and dominating approach. These test mules suggest that Mahindra has is yet to finalise lighting elements and they may be donning temporary make-shift headlights and tail lights. We can see flush auto pop-out door handles, strong creases on side body panels, chunky wheel arch claddings, large alloy wheels (could be 19-inchers) and rear wiper housed near the spoiler. Mahindra BE 7 Spied Testing Fighter Jet Like Cockpit Just like the BE 6, production-spec version of BE.07 concept, the Mahindra BE 7 (name not confirmed), might get a jet fighter like cockpit setup. However, BE.07 concept was not as dramatic as BE 6. There’s not likely to be a physical split between front occupants. Expected elements are triple-screen setup (12.3-inch each) as XEVs along with an entirely new dashboard and unique door trims along with sporty seats. Powertrain-wise, Mahindra might offer similar 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options as BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S. Claimed range will be around 600 km with Mahindra is expected to promise 500 km of real world range. An exact debut date has not been announced by Mahindra, but there is a small probability of it making a debut on August 15th, 2026.
