After winning another stage at the Tour de France, Mathieu van der Poel has announced his return to mountain biking. The Alpecin-Premier Tech rider has signed up for the Les Gets round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series. This marks his return to the discipline after not competing in mountain biking since last season, where he raced in May’s Nové Mesto before taking part in Les Gets as a lead-in race to the World Championships, finishing 29th.
