Konnor Griffin doubled, tripled, and went 4-for-5 while Ryan O’Hearn drove in three runs. Pittsburgh starter Carmen Mlodzinski (2-2) struck out a career-high 10 batters. The Braves (9) beat the Rockies (0) with Chris Sale tossing seven stellar innings and Drake Baldwin homering and driving in four runs. Atlanta remains the only MLB team to have not lost a series with a league-best 24-10 record. The Cubs (2) beat the Diamondbacks (0) with Ian Happ recording a 399-foot homer. The Guardians (14) defeated the Athletics (6) with Austin Hedges smacking two doubles and a homer. The Rays (4) clinched their first 2026 series win against the Giants (1). The Astros (6) defeated the Red Sox (3) with Brice Matthews and Christian Walker homering in back-to-back innings. The Marlins (4) beat the Phillies (0) with Max Meyer allowing one hit in seven shutout innings. The Tigers (5) defeated the Rangers (1) with Dillon Dingler’s three-run home run. The Royals (3) defeated the Mariners (2) in 10 innings with Maikel Garcia’s sacrifice fly scoring the go-ahead run.
