ANAHEIM, California - Chicago White Sox slugger Munetaka Murakami hit his 14th home run Monday in a 6-0 win against the Los Angeles Angels, tying New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge atop the Major League Baseball leaderboard. Murakami blasted a two-run shot an estimated 429 feet (130 meters) over center field off a 2-2 fastball from Jose Soriano (5-2), giving the White Sox a 4-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning at Angel Stadium. The deep fly was part of a 3-for-4 outing for the Japanese rookie that included his first MLB double, a line drive to right in the sixth inning. In MLB action elsewhere, Yoshinobu Yamamoto tossed six innings of five-hit, three-run ball to earn his third win of the season as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Houston Astros 8-3. Yamamoto (3-2) struck out eight and issued one walk in his 95-pitch outing at Daikin Park. Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-3 with an RBI and two runs, extending his hitless streak to five games. At Wrigley Field, Seiya Suzuki belted a three-run homer, his sixth long bomb of the year, to power the Chicago Cubs to a 5-4 win against the Cincinnati Reds. At Coors Field, Tomoyuki Sugano (3-2) was charged with the Colorado Rockies' 4-2 loss to the New York Mets after giving up four runs on three hits over 5-1/3 innings.
