Previously, on the 22nd, ADOR released content celebrating NewJeans' fourth anniversary, featuring various appearances by four members: Minji, Hani, Haerin, and Hyein. This has led to speculation that a comeback as a four-member group is imminent. In response, an ADOR representative told StarNews on the 22nd, "This video was produced as commemorative content for NewJeans' fourth anniversary to enjoy with fans." The representative added, "NewJeans' specific activity plans and methods will be announced after discussions with the members are fully concluded." NewJeans has not presented full-group content for approximately two years. The members had a conflict with their agency ADOR following the dismissal of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, and declared termination of their exclusive contracts through a press conference in November 2024. However, the court ruled in favor of ADOR, imposing restrictions on independent activities. Eventually, Haerin and Hyein returned to the agency in November last year, followed by Hani returning one month later in December. ADOR stated that it is "negotiating positively" regarding Minji, while Daniel was expelled. ADOR determined that Daniel was primarily responsible for causing the NewJeans exclusive contract dispute and delaying the members' departure and return, and thus notified him of contract termination. Currently, ADOR is pursuing a damages lawsuit worth 33.1 billion won against Daniel, his family, and Min Jeon (CEO).
