The first day of racing at Les Gets was a little wild. The under-23 racers got the worst of the ever-changing weather, particularly affecting the cross-country crowd. Friday’s qualification rounds in downhill looked properly gruesome. Quebec’s Rafaelle Carrier (Trinity Racing) led the Canadians, slogging through the mud to finish fifth in the under-23 women’s short track cross-country race. Canadian XCC World Cup Results: Les Gets, France – 2026. Ella MacPhee (Wilier Vittoria) was 11th in the same race, Marin Lowe (Liv Factory) 23rd, and Alexia Harel followed in 37th. Ian Actert (Pivot) was the top under-23 man in 27th. Mika Comaniuk (Pittstop Racing) was 39th. Cole Punchard (Cannondale Factory Racing) was 24th in the elite men’s XCC. Carter Woods (Giant Factory Racing) followed in 30th. Emilly Johnston (Scott SRAM), the lone Canadian in the elite women’s XCC, was 31st.
