2027 was going to be the dream year for DC fans because, in a rare occurrence, a Batman and a Superman film were going to be released in the same year. That may, unfortunately, no longer be the case. For Robert Pattinson, he has been jumping from one major project to another. From The Drama to currently promoting The Odyssey, he is set to end the year with Dune 3 and go into the next with the Matt Reeves film. At least, he was supposed to. The Batman Part II Gets Delayed © Warner Bros Matt Reeves recently gave fans the first look at Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader in The Batman Part II, and as hyped as it is, the glimpse does come with sad news tagging along. The movie was initially going to be released in late 2027, eyeing an October release if things went its way. Now, it has been once again delayed until 2028, with fans having to wait longer than they’d prepared themselves for. The Batman came out in 2022. It has already been 4 years since fans have been waiting for a sequel. Although The Penguin garnered a lot of praise, it did a lot to make fans eager for the sequel film. Now that it has been delayed again to February 18, 2028, naturally, fans were also disappointed by the update. Reeves has been dropping easter eggs and updates about the film for a while now. This includes confirming major Hollywood players joining the film. Furthermore, with the first look, Pattinson has become a much-loved version of Batman once again. Alongside him, it’s Scarlet Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch. The plot details of the movie are also under wraps at the moment. All we know is that it takes place in the winter. Moreover, the film was initially going to be released in October 2026, which was then delayed to October 2027 and now, hopefully, February 2028.
