Netflix has announced that Sakamoto Days Season 2 will premiere in January 2027. New cast and returning staff members for Sakamoto Days Season 2 were announced alongside the release of a new teaser trailer and key visual. ©鈴木祐斗/集英社・SAKAMOTO DAYS製作委員会 The new cast members for Sakamoto Days Season 2 include: Kikunosuke Toya as Amane Misa Watanabe as Etsuko Satōda Shinshū Fuji as Yotsumura Daisuke Nakajima is the new director for the second season, and Masaki Watanabe returns as the supervising director. Taku Kishimoto oversees the series scripts, Yō Moriyama designs the characters, and Yūki Hayashi is the music composer. TMS Entertainment animates the second season. “I am honored to be working on such a popular Jump title,” Nakajima told Netflix. “I will spare nothing in depicting the stylish action and individual aesthetics of Suzuki-sensei’s uniquely vivid cast of assassins. Carrying the baton from Season 1, I am bringing all my passion to expressing in animation the appeal, momentum, and epic scale of a work loved so fervently by fans around the world. Please look forward to Season 2’s grand opening!” Sakamoto Days Part 2 premiered on July 14, 2025, on Netflix . The cast from Sakamoto Days Part 1 includes: Tomokazu Sugita as Taro Sakamoto Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura Ayane Sakura as Lu Shaotang Nao Tōyama as Aoi Sakamoto Hina Kino as Hana Sakamoto Ryōta Suzuki as Heisuke Mashimo Miyari Nemoto as Piisuke Yūko Kaida as Dump Chiaki Kobayashi as Apart Ryōta Takeuchi as Minimalist Kōsuke Toriumi as Saw M.A.O as Akira Akao Mamiko Noto as Rion Akao Daiki Yamashita as Mafuyu Seba Satoshi Hino as Kanaguri Fans can read Yuuto Suzuki’s Sakamoto Days manga in English right now through VIZ Media . 22 volumes have been released in English, with pre-orders for volume 23 now open.
