"This week I am hosting two Germans as part of an Erasmus+ exchange visit. One of the first questions was: ‘How can you survive here?’ I was a bit taken aback, then they continued: ‘Your food prices are x2 higher than ours, while salaries are ÷2.’ I said, ‘That’s how we live, we live in a ‘rich’ country!’” Agnese jokes. In her opinion, in many aspects, living in Latvia is cheaper.
