The upcoming sequel, a fresh interpretation of the 1993 cult classic, will be produced by Three Dimension Motion Pictures and Aspect Entertainment. Key details include the involvement of filmmaker Subhash Ghai and his company Mukta Arts, who secured the rights. During the launch event, Dutt reprised his iconic role of Ballu in a new version.
