(Karl Merton Ferron/The Baltimore Sun) BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Adley Rutschman and Jeremiah Jackson hit grand slams in the same Orioles game for the first time since 2015. This prompted Jim Palmer, who had never eaten a chicken wing before, to attempt one after a bet with broadcaster Kevin Brown. Palmer took his first bite on Thursday afternoon during the 10-3 win over the Astros, where Rutschman and Jackson drove in four runs with one swing. Palmer expressed disappointment in Astros center fielder Brice Matthews for not catching Rutschman’s home run but enjoyed his taste test immediately afterward. ‘Brice Matthews should’ve caught that ball,’ Palmer said, seconds before taking a bite.
