Work to replace more than 19km (11.8 miles) of water pipes in Loughton, Essex, is set to disrupt 60 roads over three years. The £30m Thames Water project aims to reduce leaks and improve service resilience. Road closures will occur in stages between 08:00 and 18:00, including weekends if needed. Main affected roads include High Road, Church Hill, Rectory Lane, and Goldings Hill. Essex County Council was consulted prior to planning. The upgrades aim to enhance infrastructure reliability and customer service.
