Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVI turned into quite the fashion spectacle as national ambassadors from across the world graced the stage during one of the most anticipated events of the 75th Anniversary Miss World pageant. Held under the theme The Green World, the evening celebrated Vietnamese fashion and creativity while giving the Miss World delegates a chance to bring their own brand of glamour to the runway. Nikita Porwal, India, made a strong case for royal blue with a stunning custom gown by Bhawna Rao. The ombre bodice transitioned from icy white to deep ocean blue, adorned with intricate crystal and beadwork, and culminated in a sweeping tulle skirt. The real showstopper was the sheer cerulean cape trailing behind her like a royal-blue waterfall. Chirihan Chergui, Morocco, looked every inch the pageant queen in a rich blue gown. The flowing cape added drama, while the embellished neckline gave the otherwise fluid silhouette a regal finish. Her old-Hollywood waves, statement earrings, and bold red lip completed the look. Taanusiya Chetty, Malaysia, brought serious sparkle to the runway with a strapless gown covered in undulating bands of gold and ivory sequins. The swirling pattern gave the silhouette a sense of movement, and her sleek bun and statement earrings let the dress take center stage. Audrey Bianca Callista, Indonesia, wasn’t interested in a quiet entrance. Her sculptural cream gown became even more dramatic with extravagant opera gloves featuring feather-like fringes. The result was part couture, part sculpture, and completely unforgettable. Perla Helou, Lebanon, brought romance to the runway with a cream gown featuring an architectural off-shoulder neckline, intricate embellishments, and a skirt erupting into a garden of three-dimensional fabric flowers. Ignacia Fernandez, Chile, took the metallic trend seriously with a futuristic pale-cream corset bodice and silver-blue fabric that looked like liquid metal. Sleek hair and understated jewelry kept the futuristic gown in focus. Srichchha Pradhan, Nepal, channelled full golden-goddess energy in an ornate evening gown. The sheer illusion neckline was covered in intricate golden embroidery and shimmering details, transitioning into a fluid champagne skirt gathered at the hip. Her sculptural swirl of hair was distinctly not your average pageant updo. Gabriela Botelho, Brazil, went avant-garde with a striking white-and-gold creation. The sculpted bodice created a dramatic hourglass shape, but the gilded bustier with wing-like forms stole the show. Paired with her long copper hair, she looked like a modern golden goddess.
