Trios Match The Elite (Jungle Jack Perry & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)) vs. The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, & Lee Johnson) The bell rings as we are underway. Nick Jackson wants a handshake from Blake who gives him a middle finger instead. Nick and Matt start off with double team Blake. Perry spills Lethal to the floor. We get double bulldogs on Blake and Lee. Matt picks up Blake and slams him to the corner, tagging in Perry, who leaps through the ropes, taking out Lee and the doing the same to take out Blake. Perry brings Lethal to the floor. Nick and Matt double team Blake as Lee is still down. Perry, Nick and Matt triple team Blake in the corner, trading shots. The crowd loves it. Perry covers Blake for only a two count, but Perry tells the ref otherwise. Lethal goes to the other side of the ring and pulls down Nick. Lee kicks Matt as Blake hits Perry with a running drop kick in the corner, as he hangs upside down from the turnbuckle. Back from the break, Lee and Blake step on Perry and pose, while Lethal has him locked in a figure four. Lethal kicks Perry in the back of the leg and pays homage to Ric Flair as the fans wooo. Perry fights back comes off the top rope, taking down Lee on the outside. Perry takes down Lethal with a big lariat and tags Matt Jackson. He takes down Lethal and then takes down both Lee and Blake. Matt suplexes Blake as Nick comes off the top, landing on Blake. Matt buckle bombs Blake in the corner. Blake is hoisted up as Matt and Nick take him down. Matt covers Blake, but Lee breaks up the pin attempt. Matt and Nick are on the top ropes, but are taken down by Lee and Blake. We get stereo powerbombs and stereo sharpshooters from the Bucks. Perry puts the snare trap on Lethal, as the fans yell, “tap.”...Perry is tagged in. Lethal and Perry exchange blows in the center of the ring. Lethal connects with a lethal combination on Perry. Nick and Matt prevent a lethal injection on Perry. Lee and Blake take down the Bucks. Lethal connects with a double lethal injection on the Bucks...Lethal comes off the top and lands on Perry. Lethal covers him for only a two count. The Bucks are down, as Perry fights off Lethal Twist. Matt Jackson is tagged in. The Bucks connect with a superkick party on Lethal. Perry is launched over the ropes by the Bucks, connecting on Lethal with a big knee strike! Perry is up on the top and comes down with a moonsault on Lethal and Blake. In the ring, the Bucks hit Lee with a Meltzer driver for the win. Winner: The Elite via Pinfall. Backstage: Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, about Statlander’s Survival of the Fittest qualifier later tonight. Backstage: Hikaru Shida Back from the break, Lexy Nair is backstage talking to Hikaru Shida about the TBS Title Survival of the Fittest tournament. Vacant TBS Championship Survival of the Fittest Qualifier Match Mina Shirakawa vs. Kris Statlander Back in the venue, the music of Harley Cameron hits, as she is on commentary or our next match. The music of Mina Shirakawa hits, as she is out first. Next up, the music of Kris Statlander as she makes her way out and down to the ring. The bell rings as Mina puts a headlock on Kris. Mina holds on, as Kris tries to pick her up. Statlander breaks out of the hold, as Mina goes right back to the side headlock. Kris gets Mina to the corner, but Mina comes back and bulldogs Statlander to the mat. Mina is tossed to the corner, as Statlander charges at her, but Mina moves. Mina takes down Statlander and then comes over the ropes with a spinning tornado, landing on Statlander who rolls to the floor. Kris is back up and on the apron. Mina is on the top, but Kris catches her, dropping her shoulder first on the ring apron. Back from the break, both ladies are on the floor and then roll back in the ring. Statlander is taken down by Mina. Mina DDTs Statlander from the top rope and covers her for only a two count. Both women exchange blows, as Kris hits Mina with a pump kick and then a discus lariat. Mina comes back and sends Kris to the floor. Mina is up on the top and comes down with a big cross body on Statlander. Mina rolls Statlander in the ring. Mina goes to the top and connects with a big drop kick on Statlander. Mina covers Statlander for only a two count. Mina goes for the glorious driver, but Statlander counters and connects with a big thrust kick. Statlander covers Mina for only a two count! Statlander goes for a Saturday Night Fever, but Mina rolls her up for only a two count...Mina runs the ropes and drops Kris and rolls her up, but Statlander then counters and rolls up Mina for the win. Winner: Kris Statlander via Pinfall. Statlander puts out her hand, as Mina accepts the handshake. Harley joins Kris and Mina ins the ring. Video: Bang Bang Gang We go to a vignette with Bang Bang Gang doing a dog clinic parody directed towards The Dogs – Clark Conners and David Finlay. Backstage: Jungle Jack Perry Jack Perry is backstage talking about Zack Sabre Jr and how Zack helped him and made him feel welcome in Japan and then challenges Zack for a match for Wednesday on Dynamite. The Hurt Syndicate (Sheldon Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) vs. Warren Johnson & Zach Mason Back in the venue, the music of The Hurt Syndicate hits, as they make their way to the ring. Their opponents are already in the ring. The bell rings as Lashley puts out a handshake, but he is slapped by Johnson. Mason and Johnson tries to double team Lashley but are quickly taken down. Benjamin is tagged in. He German Suplexes Johnson, then connects with a big knee and thrust kick. Lashley is tagged in and spears Johnson and then covers him for the three count, for the fairly quickly squash. Winner: The Hurt Syndicate via Pinfall. After the match, MVP says that what we witnessed was a commercial with all the fine skills of Lashley and Benjamin on display. MVP says what they are not is interested in competing for titles, but competing for money. MVP says they are not friends or enemies with anybody, but are in the business to hurt. If anyone wants someone hurt, bring the money and they will bring the pain. They are open for business. MVP leads the fans in a “We Hurt People” chant. Backstage: SkyFlight We go backstage with Skyflight talking about tonight’s match that Dante Martin has with Mistico, later tonight. Christopher Daniels says one of his favorite tag partners is back – Matt Sydal . Daniels tells Sydal Skyflight has his back. In-Ring: Nigel McGuinness, Tommaso Ciampa, Chris Jericho Back from the break, Nigel McGuinness is in the ring, as he welcomes out Tommaso Ciampa. The lights go down, as his music hits. Ciampa is at entrance area, as his pyro goes off. He slowly makes his way to the ring. Nigel then welcomes Chris Jericho, as his music hits to a fairly good ovation. Ciampa sits on the top rope, while waiting for Jericho to come out. Jericho hits the ring, as the fans sing along to his Judas theme song. Nigel tells Ciampa he wanted a serious Jericho and that is what he’s got. Jericho grabs the mic and says that Ciampa wants to see a more version of Jericho if he is worthy. Jericho tells Ciampa is worthy and tells him how good and smart he is. He tells Ciampa he can list all of his accomplishments and asks him if he can dictate which version he get’s and every version will kick his a–. Ciampa then says this is the Chris Jericho he wanted from the beginning and the match from the beginning. Ciampa then puts out the challenge for Beach Break in Clearwater, Florida on July 8. Ciampa says they will find out if he is better than Chris Jericho. Jericho accepts the challenge. Jericho says in Clearwater they wrestle, but tonight they fight. Jericho then nails Ciampa and attempts a Walls of Jericho, but Ciampa escapes and goes to hop the barricade. Ciampa then low-blows Jericho and sends him into the steels steps and then the barricade. Jericho is busted open, as Ciampa lays into Jericho and bites him in the head, asking Jericho if he thinks this is a game. Ciampa rolls Jericho back in the ring and then drops the knee pad and connects with a brutal running knee on the face of Jericho. Ciampa kisses Jericho on the cheek, as his music hits. Ciampa then grabs Jericho and jaws at him, leaving him bleeding in the ring. Video: PAC, Shota Umino We go to a vignette with PAC and Shoto Umino for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title at Forbidden Door. Dante Martin vs. Mistico Back in the venue, Dante Martin and Christopher Daniels are out first. Next up is the music of Mistico as he makes his way out to the ring to face Dante. The bell rings as we are underway. Mistico and Dante shake hands. Both men lock up, as Dante applies a headlock on Mistico. Mistico reverses it as Dante locks up the arm of Mistico. Both men run the ropes, as Mistico comes off the ropes with a cross body on Dante. Mistico goes for Dante, who moves out of the way and then leaps through the ropes, taking out Misticio, sending him into the barricade. Dante rolls Mistico back in the ring, as the then sends Dante to the floor. Mistico dives through the ropes with a flying torpedo, taking out Dante. Mistico rolls Dante back in the ring. Mistico goes to the top, but Dante takes him down and clutches his back leg. Back from the break, Mistico takes down Dante, who rolls to the floor. Mistico leaps over the ropes, landing on Dante. Both men are down. Mistico is up and grabs Dante, rolling him back in the ring. Mistico covers Dante for only a two count. Mistico stomps on the hand of Dante, who then gets up. Both men exchange blows in the ring, as we get a slug fest. Dante connects on Mistico in the corner. Both men then take each other down. Dante craws to the corner as Daniels cheers him on. Mistico get up and connects on Dante in the corner. Mistico connects on Dante with a leg drop. Mistico is up on the top and comes down, but Dante gets the knees up. Dante covers Mistico, but he kicks out at two. Mistico powerslams Dante and then covers him, but Dante gets the left shoulder and left arm up for a two count. Mistico is up on the top and comes off, but Mistico moves. Dante powerbombs Mistico and covers him for only a two count. Dante goes to the top rope, but Mistico is up and kicks Dante, then takes down Dante from the top, slamming him on his back and covers him for the win. Winner: Mistico via Pinfall. Daniels hits the ring to check on Dante as Mistico celebrates his win with the fans. Backstage: The Demand We go backstage with The Demand. Ricochet says that Konosuke Takeshita is scared of him and is using all the Don Callis and Conglomeration drama as distraction to avoid him. Ricochet then talks specifically about Matt Sydal return and says he will be glad to help him remember how to wrestle. Backstage: The Dogs Back from the break, we go to a vignette with The Dogs, addressing Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. They say they want the AEW World Tag Team Titles. They will challenge for the belts at Forbidden Door. PAC vs. Jay Alexander Back in the venue, the music of the Death Riders hit, as PAC is backstage, making his way to the ring, along with Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir. Jay Alexander is already in the ring. Moxley is on commentary for the match. The bell rings, as both men lock up. PAC backs Alexander in the corner. PAC backs away then applies a side headlock. PAC runs the ropes, as he nails Alexander with a big elbow. PAC then drops Alexander with a big lariat. Alexander is on the outside. As PAC distracts the referee, Shafir pump kicks Alexander. PAC rolls Alexander back in the ring. PAC connects with a spin kick on Alexander and then takes him down with a kick to the side of the head. PAC then connects with a big boot to the throat of Alexander. PAC is on the top rope. Alexander is up as PAC connects with a big shotgun drop kick. PAC runs the ropes and drops Alexander with a big lariat. PAC applies the brutalizer, as Alexander taps out. Winner: PAC via Submission. Backstage: Thunder Rosa We go backstage with Thunder Rosa who says she has been competing in CMLL per her contract. Rosa talks about how she works with the best women in CMLL. Thunder Rosa challenges the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, but doesn’t yet have a partner. Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Adam Priest Back in the venue, the music of Zack Sabre Jr hits, as he makes his way out and down to the ring. Adam Priest is already in the ring. The bell rings, as both men lock up. Zack applies and armbar on Priest. The hold is broken. Sabre grabs the arm of Priest and twists it, as Priest counters and takes down Sabre. We get a test of strength, as Sabre goes down, but uses his legs to connect on the arm of Priest. Priest holds his left arm. Both men are on the ropes. Sabre slaps Priest, who then comes back with a big slap on Sabre. Priest suplexes Sabre and covers him for only a two count. Sabre is picked up by Priest, but targets the left arm of Priest to get out of the hold. Sabre grabs the arm of Priest and stomps on the arm. Priest fires back with chops on Sabre who rolls to the apron. Priest attempts a suplex but Sabre uses the ropes to lock up Priest’s arm. The ref calls for the break. Back from the break, both men collide and go down. The ref begins the ten count. Both men stumble to their feet. Priest takes down Sabre with a big knee. Sabre and Priest exchange uppercuts in the ring. Priest nails Sabre as he goes down. Priest covers Sabre for a two count. Priest attacks the left leg of Sabre. Priest grabs the left leg of Sabre, but waits to long, as Sabre counters and targets the left arm of Priest, using his legs to twist Priest’s left arm. Sabre kicks Priest, as he is up. Sabre and Priest briefly exchange blows. Sabre comes back with a big kick on Priest. Priest then comes back with a chop block on Sabre’s left knee, trying for a half crab, but Sabre escapes. Sabre grabs the left arm of Priest and bends it back. Priest screams in pain and taps out. Winner: Zack Sabre Jr. via Submission. Backstage: Divine Dominion We go to a backstage segment with the divine dominion addressing Thunder Rosa’s challenge for the tag titles.
