Albanese chews his words with country’s top CEOs

Hardly reassuring about the quality of a speech when the most notable thing is a stumble in its delivery. Anthony Albanese ’s address to the Business Council of Australia dinner on Tuesday night was putting CEOs to sleep before he chewed on pronunciation. He talked up the co-operation between “industry, unions and the community” in the government’s $2.6 billion bailout of the “Tomago aluminium smelter”.
