Ayra Starr opens up about health scare, recent major surgery

Nigerian Afrobeat star Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has spoken up regarding her short break from social media. The singer, while speaking via her Instagram page, revealed that she is currently recovering from a complicated major surgery. She noted that although the surgery and the recovery process was more complicated than she had expected, she is fine and is recovering. Ayra Starr also apologised to her fans for her disappearance, noting that she will be back soon. “Hey Mobstarrs, I’m sorry you’re not seeing as much of me as I would like. I had major surgery a few days ago. I was hoping it would be a quick recovery but it was more complicated than they expected. I just need a bit of rest and I’ll be back. Starrgirl is coming so soooon,” she stated.
