BCB president Tamim Iqbal stated that the board will hold a Game Development tournament from August 28 to September 9 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, featuring players from Under-17, 19, and 23 categories. The tournament can also be relocated to Bashundhara ground in Dhaka if needed. Once the India series is finalized, scheduling will follow. Meanwhile, India is set to play a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in New Delhi from September 13 to 17, leaving no September window for another series. The Bangladesh Premier League will not take place this season.
