The message advised them to insert their cart into EFTPOS machines and try paying that way. Another shopper in Sydney’s inner west was also unable to pay at a sports shop they told Nine.com.au. Reddit users also said they were having various issue using Mastercard and ApplePay across the country. Internet tracker Detector logged over 1000 reports of Mastercard not working this afternoon. Nine.com.au has contacted Mastercard.
