The newest member of Cunard's fleet, the Queen Anne, has briefly returned to the company's spiritual home port of Liverpool. About 3,000 passengers spent Wednesday enjoying the city as part of a British Isles cruise before setting off for Cobh in the Republic of Ireland. The 113,000-tonne ship was christened on Liverpool's waterfront in June 2024. Cunard's headquarters were based in the city from 1840 until 1967. The ship, which boasts 14 decks, set off on its maiden voyage from Southampton on 3 May 2024. Liverpool was home to Cunard for 128 years.
