Misbah Arshad to represent Pakistan at Miss Universe 2026 in San Juan

The countdown to the 75th Miss Universe pageant has begun, with contestants from around the world preparing to represent their countries. The prestigious competition is scheduled for November 24, 2026, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. India recently crowned 19-year-old Kaziah Liz Mejo from Kerala as its representative, while Pakistan has selected 26-year-old psychology student Misbah Arshad, a model and content creator who previously represented Pakistan internationally at Miss International 2023 in Japan. Following Kaziah’s victory at the Miss Universe India 2026 finale in Jaipur on August 23, Misbah extended her support to the newly crowned Indian queen. Pakistani Pageants shared a collage featuring Miss Universe Thailand 2026 Tharina Botes, Misbah, and Kaziah with the words, 'Team Asia: Getting Strong.' Misbah congratulated the queens, writing, 'Last week, we witnessed three beautiful queens being crowned, making Team Asia stronger and more elegant.' She also shared the post on her Instagram Stories. Kaziah emerged victorious from 52 finalists and will represent India at the Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico. Beyond pageantry and modeling, Misbah has spoken about the importance of girls’ education, particularly for Pakistan’s future. In July 2026, she visited a school in Lahore, interacting with students and learning about development initiatives. She said the experience reinforced her belief that girls’ education is a powerful investment in Pakistan’s future. Her social media presence highlights interests in fashion, beauty, travel, and cultures, featuring destinations, local food, and nature. The Miss Universe Pakistan organization announced Misbah as the country’s representative, describing her as embodying grace, beauty, confidence, and purpose. Her white gown symbolized hope, while royal blue crystals represented education and knowledge.
