Olivia Rodrigo Debuts ‘begged’ and Performs ‘drop dead’ in SNL Hosting Debut

Olivia Rodrigo hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live (May 2), debuting two new tracks from her upcoming third studio album *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love*, set for release on June 12. The album features the lead single ‘drop dead,’ which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the fourth time in her career. Rodrigo also performed the previously unreleased ballad ‘begged,’ seated on a swing to mirror the album cover. This marks her third SNL appearance and first time hosting as well as performing as a musical guest. She previously appeared in 2021 and 2023, promoting her albums *Sour* and *Guts*, respectively. Rodrigo’s career includes three Grammy nominations and Album of the Year nominations for both albums. She has also announced *The Unraveled Tour*, a concert series spanning the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and made a surprise Coachella appearance with Addison Rae.
