Post Malone has cancelled the start of his tour to focus on finishing his upcoming album. The Circles hitmaker originally planned to begin the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 later this month but has pushed back the start date to 9 June in Charlotte, North Carolina, delaying the tour by over three weeks. This change has resulted in six gigs being canceled, including stops in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. Post Malone announced the delay on his Instagram Story, stating he promised fans new music but hasn’t yet completed it. He admitted that the tour schedule didn’t align with the music production timeline, forcing him to postpone the tour to finish the album. Fans were disappointed by the cancellation, but Post Malone assured them the new music will be worth the delay. Referencing his 2016 debut album Stoney, he mentioned that he still plans to perform his older material. Last month, Post Malone revealed that his next album, The Eternal Buzz, will feature 40 songs, following a blank tracklist uploaded on Instagram. He also mentioned working on a country album with Nashville collaborators, Ernest, Hardy, and Thomas Rhett, and expressed excitement about the new material. While still in vocal sessions, he noted that many songs are already ready for release.
