Raja Shivaji Box Office Day Two: The historical drama Raja Shivaji is performing well at the Marathi box office, though it saw a slight drop on its second day. After a strong opening on Friday, the film collected around 7.50 crore nett, followed by approximately 7 crore on Saturday, taking its two-day total to about 14.50 crore nett. Despite the minor dip, the overall trend remains solid, and the film is heading towards a 21 crore+ opening weekend, setting a new record in Marathi cinema. The current opening weekend record is held by Sairat with 12.10 crore nett. Raja Shivaji, with a massive budget of around 75 crore, is the most expensive Marathi film ever made. For the film to be declared a hit, it will need a strong hold in the coming days and aim for a lifetime total of over 90 crore nett. In the Hindi market, the film has delivered an average performance, collecting around 3.25 crore on Friday and 3.30 crore on Saturday, totaling approximately 6.55 crore nett. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, the film stars Deshmukh in the lead role, along with Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Fardeen Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Sachin Khedekar, Amol Gupte, Abhishek Bachchan, and Salman Khan.
