Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mananna visited Thummanpet village in Telangana's Achampet Mandal. The two launched a scholarship initiative aimed at supporting the education of meritorious students. Many pictures and videos from the event have been circulating on social media. One video has become the talk of the town, in which the Pushpa actress wiped the sweat from Vijay’s forehead with a tissue, fixed his mustache, and also nodded her head at him as if to say that he was looking good. Fans are in awe of their cute gesture, and lovely memes are being made about them. The duo got married on February 26 in Udaipur in the presence of their close friends and family members. The newlyweds also hosted a grand wedding reception, with many well-known names from the film industry and political circles in attendance. At Sunday's event, the duo also announced educational scholarships as part of their social service endeavour. On the work front, the Kingdom actor will next be seen in the film Ranabaali. The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series. His wife herself will be seen as the female lead in the film, and international actor Arnold Vosloo is all set to play a key role. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 11, 2026. Rashmika is currently also doing Mysaa, an action drama led by herself exclusively. VD is also doing Rowdy Janardhana, which is directed by Ravi Kiran Kola.
