Rebecca Black Responds to Jaafar Jackson’s 2011 Diss: ‘Alright But U Were Fierce in Michael Tho’

Rebecca Black is having a lot of fun looking back at old times. The 28-year-old musician has dug up an old tweet from Jaafar Jackson on his account about a decade-old slight that made the singer laugh. The actor had tweeted the following lines back in 2011, shortly after “Friday” became super popular: “Roses are red, violets are blue, if Rebecca Black wins ANY awards, Kanye you know what to do...” which referenced Kanye West’s interrupting Taylor Swift during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. However, the singer replied to Jaafar’s tweet fifteen years later: “alright but u were fierce in michael tho.” Besides that, Rebecca Black has reposted a tweet making fun of the original slight but later decided to delete it: “the concept of k*nye taking my teen choice award surfboard and giving it to shane dawson.” After some time had passed since the initial tweet, Black clarified her intent to those who misunderstood her: “guys i’m just having fun after catching a literal decade-old stray happy mother’s day,” the “TRUST!” singer said. Jaafar Jackson plays his uncle Michael Jackson in a biopic titled “Michael”, which was recently released and became a box office hit in just a couple of weeks.
