Set in a mythological world, the film promises a new cinematic experience with global-scale visuals. What was intended as cute has instead been labelled “creepy” and “tone-deaf” by many social media users. Vijay Deverakonda is set to take a step toward global cinema with his upcoming film directed by Shouryuv of Hi Nanna fame, which was officially announced yesterday. Produced under Vyra Entertainments, the film stands out for its collaboration with international technicians. Cinematography will be handled by Alejandro Martinez, whose credits include House of the Dragon and Fallout. VFX supervisor Eric Durst, known for films such as Gods of Egypt, Batman Forever and Snowpiercer, is also on board. Suresh Selvarajan, who previously worked on Animal and Om Shanti Om, serves as production designer, while music will be composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The first-look poster shows Vijay striding ahead carrying four pet dogs, with seven armed figures following behind him. Its tagline — “All the anger you see now was once love” — has further heightened intrigue. According to an official statement, the film, set in a mythological universe, promises to introduce audiences to an entirely new cinematic world.
